First Decade
Diane celebrated her first decade! She turned 10 last 4 July. And as promised she got her very first cellphone. To celebrate the special occasion, the whole family had dinner at Serye, in Eastwood, Libis. She's in Grade 4 this year and I'm very proud to say doing her own homeworks, but still has to learn to fix her own bag or things without me telling her often. She even studies for quizzes on her own now...but good ol' Mom still keeps on checking her Assignment notebooks every now and then.
This year, she joined the Instrumentalist Club in her school. She's now learning how to play the guitar and yet still wishes she could learn how to play the drums like her Dad. I told her to take it easy - learn one thing at a time - she could do/be whatever she likes just as long she's happy in what she does.
Diane is my "tweeny" (a kid in between being a child and a teenager)...Gosh! just imagine in 3-years time I'll already have a teenaged daughter...look at her clothes - she was the one who chose that top at Gingersnaps.
My wish for her is to grow up a God-fearing person, with a kind and grateful heart. Most of all, I wish she grows up to be a better mini-me.
Happy Birthday Diane! We love you very much! Mwah!
